Transverse myelitis causes
1. Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV) infection
2. Spinal epidural or intradural Lymphoma
3. Toxoplasma gondii infection
Polyradiculopathy
1. Cytomegalovirus
  1. May involve the spinal cord segment
  2. May present with a painful extremity
Slowly progressive vacuolar myelopathy
1. Progressive painless gait disturbance with ataxia
2. Helpful to image spine with MRI
