  1. Knee internal rotation and varus stress typically with falls and injuries in Downhill Skiing, basketball, and baseball
  2. Associated with ACL Tears (which are in contrast, typically valgus stress injuries)

    1. Avulsion Fracture at the lateral tibial plateau (lateral capsular margin) best seen on AP View

IV. Associated Conditions

  1. Anterior Cruciate Ligament Tear (ACL Tear) in 75% of cases
  2. Medial Meniscus Tear (esp. posterior horn)
