II. Findings
- Rolando fracture is a comminuted, intraarticular Fracture of the thumb Metacarpal base
- Contrast with a Bennett's Fracture, which is a single intra-articular Fracture

- Bennett's Fracture
- Extraarticular Metacarpal Fracture
IV. Management
- Open reduction and internal fixation
- Technically a very difficult procedure for orthopedic surgeons
V. Prognosis
- Unlikely to return to normal previous thumb function
