  1. IgA deficiency AND formed Antibody to IgA

IV. Mechanism

  1. Purified pooled plasma product, replacing deficient Alpha-1 Antitrypsin (Alpha-1 Proteinase Inhibitor)

V. Dosing

  1. Give 60 mg/kg IV weekly

  2. Pooled plasma product
    1. Risk of bood borne pathogens including Creutzfeld-Jakob Disease
    2. Complete Immunizations (including Hepatitis B Vaccine) before use
