- Consult infectious disease specialists as needed
- Many Antibiotics require no dose adjustment in Obesity (e.g. Doxycycline)

Beta Lactam
Antibiotics (e.g. Penicillins, Cephalosporins)
- Dose at upper limit of normal (e.g. Cephalexin 1000 mg every 6 hours)

Clindamycin
- Use higher doses (e.g. 900 mg orally every 8 hours) in Skin and Soft Tissue Infections
- Trimethoprim/Sulfamethoxazole (Bactrim, Septra)
- Use 2 tabs twice daily
