- Intravenous (not FDA approved): 12.5 to 25 mg
- Sedation in latent phase: Barbiturates
- Not recommended
- Secobarbital (Seconal) 100 mg PO or IM
- Risk of neonatal depression (potentiated by Opioid)
- No known antagonist
