- Age younger than 18 years old
- Medical comorbidities
- Medications (psychotropics or anticoagulants)
- High risk sport (e.g. collision or contact sport or dangerous athletic play)
- Symptom related (see Concussion Symptom Checklist)
- More than three Concussion symptoms at presentation
- Specific symptoms such as Fatigue or fogginess
- Headache lasting more than 60 hours
- Loss of consciousness >60 seconds
- Amnesia
- Management
- Consider referral to neurologist or other specialist knowledgeable in Concussion
- Consider formal Neuropsychological Testing
