Indications
1. Office management of Cerumen Impaction
Mechanism
1. Triethanolamine polypeptide oleate 10% condensate
2. Dissolved in propylene glycerol with chlorobutanol 0.5%
3. Maintains acid pH and emulsifies cerumen
Precautions
1. Not for home use
Dosing: Intended for office application
1. Fill ear canal
2. Softens cerumen in 15-30 minutes
Adverse Effects: Skin reactions are common
1. Hypersensitivity risk: 1%
2. Local dermatitis
  1. Especially if applied to peri-aural area
