  1. Start once wound closure has occurred
  2. Cut sheeting 1-2 cm larger than involved area
  3. Wash the sheet and the scar with soap and water daily between applications
  4. Apply directly over wound and leave in place for 12-24 hours per day for 2-3 months
    1. Example: Start Day 28 for 3 months after wound closure
    2. Longer use beyond 3 months does not improve outcomes
