    1. Sonorous snoring sound

  1. Onset between ages 4 to 8 weeks old
  2. Resolves spontaneously shortly after onset

  1. Sound produced on inhalation via loose pharyngeal mucus
  2. Occurs when mucus producing glands increase output

  1. High arch Palate
  2. Small nasal passage

VI. Differential Diagnosis: Snuffling with Common Cold

  1. Infant with Snurgles sleeps well in any position
  2. Infant with Snurgles breaths easily with mouth closed
