    1. As effective as Warfarin with INR 2-3
    2. Ximelagartan does not require monitoring
    3. Ximelagartan has fewer bleeding complications
  6. Disadvantages
    1. Expensive
    2. Myocardial Ischemia risk
    3. Risk of severe liver toxicity
  7. Dosing
    1. Studies used fixed dose of 36 mg bid
