    1. Intense itching within 15 minutes of water contact
    2. Persists on average for 40 minutes

    1. No associated skin findings (except excoriations)

  5. Management
    1. Treat concurrent Xerosis
    2. Capsaicin cream applied tid for 4 weeks
    3. Ultraviolet B Phototherapy

    1. May recur after each water exposure for years
