  2. Indications: Evaluation for Sacroiliac joint disease
    1. Sacroiliitis in Ankylosing Spondylitis
  3. Technique: External Hip Rotation
    1. Patient lies supine
      1. Knee on affected side flexed to 90 degrees
      2. Foot on affected side rests on opposite knee
    2. Examiner places one hand on opposite iliac crest
      1. Stabilizes pelvis against table
    3. Examiner places one hand on knee of affected side
    4. Examiner externally rotates hip on affected side
      1. Knee pushed laterally and down
  4. Interpretation: Positive Test (Patrick's Sign)
    1. Pain on external hip rotation suggests sacroiliitis
