Indications
1. Newborns
2. Infants under 20 to 22 pounds (under age 1 year)
3. Infants head must be >1 inch below top of seat
Positioning
1. Seat always faces rear
2. Semi-reclined position (45 degrees) maintains airway
3. Rear-facing position supports head and neck
  1. Front-facing does not offer head and neck support
4. Rear-facing position continued until:
  1. Child over age 1 year and
  2. Child weight over 20 pounds
5. Harness straps should be at or below shoulder level
6. Carrier handle, sun shield should be in down position
