1. Developed at University of Minnesota in 1994 by Harold Ireton, PhD
2. With the Infant Development Inventory, this replaces the Minnesota Child Development Inventory (MCDI)
3. A shorter screening version is available as the Child Development Review
Disadvantages
1. Long survey: 300 questions
Description
1. Available in English and Spanish
2. Parents complete in 30-50 minutes (written at 7th-8th grade level)
Efficacy
1. Test Sensitivity: 80%
2. Test Specificity: 70%
3. Initial testing with 568 white children, from working-class families in St. Paul
