    1. Suspected Pulmonary Embolism (intermediate suspicion)
      1. DVT responsible for 90% of pulmonary emboli
    2. Diagnosis of Deep Vein Thrombosis
  2. Advantages
    1. Can be done in the office setting
    2. Doppler highly sensitive for deep vein thrombi
  3. Disadvantages
    1. Not sensitive for detecting thrombi in calves
