Pathophysiology
1. Associated with Disseminated Intravascular Coagulopathy
2. Possible etiologies
  1. Severe bacterial infection (Meningococcemia)
  2. Protein C Deficiency
  3. Protein S Deficiency
Signs

3. Rapidly progressive Purpura
  1. Microvascular thrombosis in Dermis
  2. Perivascular hemorrhage
  3. Necrotic gangrene
Prognosis
