Indications
1. Traveler's Diarrhea
2. Helicobacter Pylori management
Dosing
1. Tablet: Two tabs PO qid up to maximum of every 4 hours
2. Liquid: 30 ml every 30 minutes to maximum of 240 ml/day
Adverse Effects
1. Turns Tongue and stool black
2. Mild Tinnitus
3. May decrease bioavailability of Doxycycline
  1. Doxycycline is used for Malaria Prophylaxis
Contraindications
1. Avoid in Salicylate allergy
2. Avoid if patient on Salicylates OR Coumadin
3. Do not exceed 3 weeks of use
