  2. Management: Phase 1 Rehydration Fluids
    1. Oral Rehydration Solution (ORS) with 50-90 meq/L Sodium
      1. Mild Dehydration: ORS 50 ml/kg over 4-6 hours
      2. Moderate Dehydration: ORS 100 ml/kg over 4-6 hours
      3. Severe Dehydration: See Pediatric Dehydration
    2. Vomiting
      1. Small feeds of 5ml q2-5 min by tsp or oral syringe
  3. Management: Phase 2 Maintenance Fluids
    1. Oral Rehydration with 40-60 meq/L Sodium
      1. May alternate formula and Oral Rehydration Solution
    2. Calculating maintenance replacement
      1. Base: 150 ml/kg/day
      2. Add ongoing loss of Diarrhea stools
        1. Method 1: 10 ml/kg per stool or
        2. Method 2: 1/2 to 1 cup ORS per stool
