1. Subtype of Diabetic Neuropathy
2. Most often in older males with Type II Diabetes
Symptoms
1. Disabling and bilateral thigh Muscle Weakness
2. Weight loss
3. Myalgias may be present
Signs
1. Thigh muscle atrophy
  1. Iliopsoas weakness
  2. Quadriceps weakness
  3. Adductor Muscle Weakness
2. Patellar Deep Tendon Reflex loss
