    1. Echocardiogram
      1. Ejection Fraction is best predictor of prognosis
    2. Stress Test (Class I evidence - standard of care)
      1. Do not perform if revascularization was performed
      2. Submaximal test days 4-6 post-MI (before discharge)
        1. Perform if no contraindications
        2. Alternative: 14-21 days post-MI (after discharge)
      3. Symptom limited maximal test at 3-6 weeks post-MI

    3. Coronary Angiogram
      1. Indications
        1. Check Re-perfusion after:
          1. Large or Anterior Myocardial Infarction
          2. Thrombolytic use

      1. Indications
        1. Identify surviving myocardium

    1. Treat Comorbid Major Depression (present in 15-22%)

      2. Risk of MI related death increased 3.5 fold
    2. Observe for Cerebrovascular Accident symptoms
      1. Risk increased 44 fold in first 30 days post-MI
