Content Updates
The Primary Care core content has been developed since 1994 and has been online since 1997. Site updates are based on twenty or more review articles monthly, as well as conferences and clinical encounters. As of 2012, systematic review includes core Emergency Medicine and Pharmacology resources.
Conferences referenced in 2011 and 2012 include ACLS, ATLS, APLS, Difficult Airway, Emergency Procedures, Emergency Ultrasound as well as AAFP Board Review and Mayo Practice of Internal Medicine.

Web Applications
Over the past 15 years I have explored various dynamic technologies to develop clinical resources. Some of these tools are embedded in the actual core content. Examples include medication pricing, embedded medical calculators (soapnote.org), and NIH UMLS codes (links to definitions, billing codes, and language translations).
A second tool type is the stand-alone application for the web. These are adjuncts to the core content. Watch for new Clinical Web Apps in 2013 and 2014.
